FK0154 (M 28) at the Washita County Museum - Cordell, OK - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This U. S. Coast and Geodetic Survey Benchmark Disk is set at the entrance of the old Cordell Library, which is now the Washita County Museum. The disk bears the designation M 28 and the year 1934. It appears that the disk was once painted over and then cleaned; the paint remaining in the stamping really sets it off! There is ample parking nearby.

Note: the coordinates of this waymark differ from those on the FK0154 data sheet, which are quite inaccurate.
