FK0184 (S 2) at Hutto's Clothing Store - Weatherford, OK - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This National Geodetic Survey Benchmark Disk has an interesting history. It was originally set in the stone foundation of Hutto's Clothing Store in 1955. That building was eventually demolished and replace but a portion of the old stone wall containing the disk was retained and set into the bricks of a new building at the same location. The stated designation S2 does not appear but this disk is marked with the altitude - 1659.590 feet above sea level. There is ample parking nearby.
