Hill Wheatley Plaza was created from his gift of this piece of land in downtown to the city of Hot Springs. An interesting fountain which taps the famed hot springs and a public art sculpture of the Hot Springs Mountain with a bronze statue of Wheatley standing on it dominates the plaza.

The plaza is located at 629 Central Avenue. Hot Springs, AR. 71902

The statue of Wheatley features a plaque on its base that reads as follows:

"HILL WHEATLEY PLAZA

Because the love of the city of hot Springs this plaza was given to the hot Springs foundation by Hill Wheatley December 1981 for the use and benefit of the public.

There is a public water station at the plaza where tourists may fill their own jugs with the famous mineral water of Hot Springs for free.
