[DE] "Die Ruine der Burg Sayn, der im 12. Jahrhundert erbauten Stammburg der Grafen von Sayn bzw. Sayn-Wittgenstein, liegt im Stadtteil Sayn von Bendorf am Rhein zwischen Koblenz und Neuwied im Landkreis Mayen-Koblenz in Rheinland-Pfalz."
Aufgeführt ist die Denkmalzone in der Liste der Kulturdenkmäler für Bendorf: "Burgruine; Hauptburg mit vier- und innen fünfeckigem Bergfried, Schildmauer, Hofseite; freigelegte Burgkapelle: romanische Doppelkapelle, um 1200, mit Resten eines mittelalterlichen Zierfußboden; Vorburg mit tiefer gelegenen Burgmannenhäusern, sogenanntes Reiffenbergsches Burghaus und Von Steinscher Sitz; die die einzelnen Burgbereiche miteinander verbindenden Mauern setzen sich in der Ortsbefestigung fort"
