Across from the small frame Holdenville depot is the Pallmer Inn. The south wall is stuccoed and this mural is painted on four framed wood panels. The mural depicts Stroup Park, a large city park on the north side of town.

The mural shows a low stone wall with a small boy sitting atop it. Through the entrance, a mother and child are walking into the park. You can see the playground, the picnic pavilion, and off to the right, the swimming pool and rock bathhouse built in 1936 by the WPA. To see details of this bathhouse (visit link)
