(visit link) "Mrs. Harriet FORD, and who afterwards-in the year 1821, Jan. 16-deeded to the trustees of the church, to be used for a church and burial purposes, all that portion of land embraced within the old cemetery and the present church-grounds...The church edifice was enlarged and beautified in 1868, and on April 23, 1869, was rededicated. "

"The Union monument is in the center of the Riverside Cemetery in Oneonta, New York. It represents the men of Oneonta, most of whom joined up with the 121st NYVI. "

There are zinc monuments here including that of William and Polly Morenus.
This zinc is topped with a child shepherd carrying a lamb. It has several images: a cross with roses, a wreath of roses, two angels kneeling, a robed figure pointing upward, and a shaft of wheat. text: "All is Well Safe, safe at home. Our mother Our father"
