This church and cemetery were created in the early 1800s. There is civil war monument in the cemetery from 1871.

"The Union monument is in the center of the Riverside Cemetery in Oneonta, New York. It represents the men of Oneonta, most of whom joined up with the 121st NYVI. "

There are zinc monuments here including that of William and Polly Morenus.
This zinc is topped with a child shepherd carrying a lamb. It has several images: a cross with roses, a wreath of roses, two angels kneeling, a robed figure pointing upward, and a shaft of wheat. text: "All is Well Safe, safe at home. Our mother Our father"
