Bailey Park is a well-maintained grassed narrow strip of land directly beside Cessnock Road, with unkempt bushland that backs onto the Hunter Valley railway line. The maintained part has a concrete walkway and cycleway running the length of it, that connects with similar parks on Cessnock Road.
