At the intersection with Hood Avenue in Sisters, turn onto Elm Street. In about 0.4 miles, Elm street becomes FR16, Three Creek Lake Road. Travel S from the intersection for about 1.3 miles. Turn left onto FR4606, the Brooks-Scanlon Logging Road, and continue 1.6 miles to the quarter corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 6" in a mound of stones

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The quarter corner bears N, about 1360' from the centerline of FR4606. Found two ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags, old-style BEARING TREE shields and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the backsides.


What property is this mark defining?:
Deschutes National Forest all around; see also USDI-Bureau of Land Management, Field Notes of the Dependent Resurvey of a Portion of the Subdivisional Lines, and the Subdivision of Section 15, Township 15 South, Range 10 East of the Willamette Meridian in the State of Oregon; Survey Completed July 16, 1969
