Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present sixteenth corner bears S01.4°E from T15S R10E S18 17 20 19 COR, 1332' distant.
Type of survey mark: driven length of 5/8" rebar; rising 3"
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The sixteenth corner is at the NW corner of a 2x4" wire mesh fence. There is a PROPERTY BOUNDARY decal on an orange Carsonite post which bears N, 16" distant. Found two ponderosa pines, the original reference trees, with no blazes or metal signs.
What property is this mark defining?:
Deschutes National Forest W from the corner, else private property; see also survey CS00584, filed in the Deschutes County Surveyors Office.
