Burton is a village in Keya Paha County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 10 at the 2010 census.

Burton was platted in 1905. It was named for a storekeeper.

Burton was established as an agricultural town along with its post office in 1884. It didn't make the cut to become the county seat and has been fading ever since. The post office closed in 1973.
