Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present quarter corner bears S88.3°W from T15S R10E S20 21 28 29 COR, 2672' distant.
Type of survey mark: 3" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 2" in a collar of stones

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
There are PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on a T-post which bears W, 28" distant. In addition, there are two wood lath witness stakes. Found three ponderosa pines and a western juniper with scribed blazes and the usual complement of metal signs.


What property is this mark defining?:
Deschutes National Forest land S from the corner, else private property; see also Oregon Corner Restoration Record #1163, filed in the Deschutes County Surveyors Office
