[FR] Le temple protestant de Tours est une église de culte protestant réformé, située rue de la Préfecture à Tours.
Ancienne chapelle des Filles de l'Union Chrétienne dont le couvent fut fondé par Joseph Sain, chanoine de Tours en 1676. La communauté fut supprimée en 1790 : son but était de recevoir les veuves et les demoiselles protestantes en vue de les convertir au catholicisme. Cet édifice accueille depuis 1844 le culte de l'Eglise Réformée de France.
[EN] The Protestant Temple of Tours is a Protestant Protestant Reformed Church, located on Rue de la Préfecture in Tours.
Formerly known as the Chapel of the Daughters of the Christian Union, whose order was founded by Jospeh Sain, canon of Tours in 1676. The community was disbanded in 1790 : its aim had been to take in widows and young girls of the protestant faith who had been converted to catholicism. Since 1844, the building has housed the French Reform Church.
