Oakwood Cemetery is on Highway 56 south of Wewoka. The cemetery has a beautiful rock wall and small chapel built by the WPA in the 1930's.

This is a tree stump WOW marker which is standing on four horizontal logs engraved with calla lilies. The inscription is engraved on a shield and reads:

Son of
E. L. & Amanda
Davis
July 21, 1898
Oct. 29, 1918
Gone but not for-
gotten
