These two abstract sculptures were once part of functioning fountains. The are located in front of the Old Ottawa City Hall (now the John Diefenbaker building) on Sussex Drive.

Two abstract sculptures flank each side of the projecting chamber (Figure 32). Once functioning fountains, welded-aluminium plate sculptures by Louis Archambault remain in their place on the plaza." Their expressive design originally countered the plaza's strict grid plan accented with limestone flagstone."
