This outlook-tower is placed on a hill above Vallendar. It offers a scenic to Koblenz and the Neuwieder Becken. The tower has been dedicated to the Emperor Kaiser Friedrich and King Friedrich III. He was monarch for Prussia and Germany for only 99 days in the year 1888. The tower has a height of 25m and is made of iron cast. On 4. August 1989 it was renewed. The cost of the restauration was about 134.200DM. It was done by the company Hilgers in Rheinbrohl. The same company has build the towers in 1899.
