At the intersection with Hood Avenue in Sisters, turn onto Elm Street. In about 0.4 miles, Elm street becomes FR16, Three Creek Lake Road. Travel S from the intersection for about 3.0 miles to the corner on the left.

Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" brass cap on an iron pipe; rising 7" What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?: The corner bears E, about 3660' from the centerline of FR16. There are two proximate U-posts. One, with PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs, bears W, 24" distant. The other, with a PROPERTY BOUNDARY sign, bears S, 36" from the corner. There is a LOCATION POSTER on a 23" ponderosa pine which bears ESE, 9'7" distant. Found four ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the backsides.
