This war memorial stands proudly in front of the Seminole County Courthouse.

This war memorial is located at the entrance to the courthouse. Standing on a rusticated horizontal base approximately 14 feet wide is a masonry wall, 12 ft. wide and 3 ft. high. At the center a tapering pillar rises about 10 ft, with a pointed top.

At the top of the pillar is engraved the U.S. seal with an eagle and stars. Beneath this, the engraving reads:

Armed Forces

In honor of
all who serve to
guarantee our freedom
we owe an endless debt of
gratitude

Erected by people of
Seminole County in 1985
