This Statue of Liberty replica stands in front of the Seminole County Courthouse in Wewoka. It is one of 200 replicas placed throughout the United States in 1950.

The statue is made of sheet copper and stands about 8-1/2 feet tall without its base. It is a replica of Bartholdi's "Liberty Enlightening the World" which stands in New York harbor. This statue is standing on an 8 ft. high stone pillar, which is standing in a shrub garden with an 8-pointed star granite block wall approximately 2 ft. high. Behind the statue is a flagpole flying the U.S. and Oklahoma flags. A bronze plaque mounted on the stone pillar reads:

With the faith and courage of
their forefathers who made
possible the freedom of these
United States
the Boy Scouts of America
dedicate this replica of the
Statue of Liberty as a peldge
of everlasting fidelity and
