At the intersection with Hood Avenue in Sisters, turn onto Elm Street. In about 0.4 miles, Elm Street becomes FR16, Three Creek Lake Road. Travel S from the intersection for about 2.5 miles to the quarter corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap cemented in a drilled rock outcrop

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The quarter corner bears E, about 4040' from the centerline of FR16. There is a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign on a U-post, uprooted and lying on the ground. There is an "X" chiseled about 18" up on a large rock which bears NE, 18'5" distant. Found two western junipers with scribed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the backsides.

What property is this mark defining?:
Deschutes National Forest all around
