EN: The Gerechtigkeitsbrunnen (Fountain of Justice) stands in the square in front of the town church. The fountain was created by sculptor Heinz Henz in 1643 and painted by Balthasar Fisch.
The fountain has a hexagonal trough of about five meters in diameter. On the west side stands a painted fountain column with a statue of Justitia atop.
Until 1905, the fountain stood further in the east at an intersection and was then moved to its present location because of the increasing traffic.
DE: Der Gerechtigkeitsbrunnen steht auf dem Platz vor der Stadtkirche. Der Brunnen wurde 1643 vom Bildhauer Heinz Henz geschaffen und von Balthasar Fisch bemalt.
Der Brunnen hat einen sechseckigen Trog von etwa fünf Metern Durchmesser. An der Westseite steht eine bemalte Brunnensäule mit einer Statue von Justitia auf der Spitze.
Bis 1905 stand der Brunnen etwas weiter östlich an einer Kreuzung und wurde dann wegen des zunehmenden Verkehrs an seine heutige Stelle versetzt.
