Film je inspirován skutecným zlocinem, který se stal v 80. letech a je preveden do Prahy. Tvurci vytvorili napínavý kriminální film o pátrání po vrazích mladé studentky. Skupina mladíku unese z vysokoškolského klubu studentku 1. rocníku a znásilní ji. Obet musí být umlcena. O tom, kterí z únoscu se stanou vrahy, rozhodne v její prítomnosti los. Nad ránem dívku odvezou k rece a utopí. Prestanou se scházet. Policie objeví stopu, vedoucí k úcastníkum osudné noci, až po nekolika letech. Mezitím si však nekterí založili rodiny a stali se sporádanými obcany. Zcela zmenili identitu a nabyli presvedcení, že nebudou odhaleni. Jejich rodice bojují všemi prostredky, aby vina nebyla prokázána - bez soucitu s obetí…
