Trinity shopping mall opened in 2013 and was a regeneration project that improved existing retail units.
A 3,716 m2 (40,000 sq ft) glass dome is the centrepiece of Trinity East. Designed by SKM Anthony Hunts, its 1902 glass panels rise 30.5 m (100 ft) above street level.
Underneath the dome is the 5 metre tall horse made from small galvanised metal pieces welded together. It is the dominant sculpture in the mall, which has a number of smaller artworks in and around it.
The sculpture celebrates Leeds history of an important and large textile industry. In its heyday the textiles were transported around the city on horse back and this horse also carries a load on its back.
The co-ordinates for the waymark are at the nearest entrance next to Trinity Church which the mall is named after.
