At the university's campus in front of building 'Pfaffenwaldring 10' in Stuttgart, Germany, Baden-Württemberg is an old Propeller of a Kaplan Turbine on a public display. It's one of several machines on a public display in front of the building.

The propeller was in use from 1930 untill 1982 at the power plant 'Ryburg-Schwörstadt', working about 400,000 hours.
The diameter of the Kaplan Turbine was 7 meters.
