EN: The tourist information office called "aarau info" is located in the center of the old town on the ground floor of a historic house.
Here you will find information about what to visit in the region, brochures, tickets for events, as well as gifts and souvenirs. In addition, regular city tours on various topics are held.
The old house was the first department store in the city, later it housed the post office. In 2014, the house was renovated and converted to the tourist office.
DE: Das Touristeninformationsbüro namens "aarau info" befindet sich im Zentrum der Altstadt im Erdgeschoss eines historischen Hauses.
Hier gibt es Informationen über Besuchenswertes in der Region, Broschüren, Tickets für Veranstaltungen, aber auch Geschenkartikel und Souvenirs. Ausserdem werden regelmässig Stadtführungen zu verschiedenen Themen durchgeführt.
Das alte Haus war das erste Kaufhaus in der Stadt, später war darin die Post untergebracht. 2014 wurde das Haus renoviert und zum Tourismusbüro umgebaut.
