Maple Grove Cemetery on the west side of Seminole is a lovely area with a beautiful memorial stone chapel at its center. To the west of the chapel is a section with military burials.
At the center of this section there are two war memorials. This one which faces west was placed by the American Legion. It is a four foot high gray marble monument which reads:
Dedicated to those who
gave their lives for
freedoms just cause
World Wars I-IILet none forget
they gave their all
and faltered not
when came the call
