The area surrounding the Mlacak Community Centre has many things to offer: public library, indoor ice rink, tennis courts, art gallery, electric car chargers and a bike repair station. The bike repair station is also available for the local high school students. A new multi-purpose path was open along the north side of Campeau in 2017. From the community centre, it is a short ride (1000 metres) to the Watts Creek Pathway which heads through the greenbelt to distant, downtown Ottawa.

As you enter the community center, the bike repair station is to the left of the main entrance. This bike repair station is sponsored by two community organizations: EnviroCentre and the Ontario Trillium Foundation. The repair station consists of a work stand, an air pump and an assortment of wrenches and drivers.
