The ARA Palace, formerly known as the Perla Department Store, is a modern high-rise building at 28 October 371/1 on the corner of Pearl Street and the 28th October Street in Old Town, Prague 1, opposite Adria Palace. The building was designed by Milan Babuška. The portal was the work of architect and designer Max Gerstl.

Prof. Ing. arch. techn. Milan Babuška (November 20, 1884, Dubí u Kladna - October 17, 1953, Prague) was a Czech architect and artist. Because he was also exceptionally musically talented, he studied violin at the same time as architecture. Before the First World War he briefly worked as an architect, also acting as a conductor of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra. He was appointed professor at Jaromer Industrial School.
