At the intersection with Hood Avenue in Sisters, turn onto Elm Street. In about 0.4 miles, Elm Street becomes FR16, Three Creek Lake Road. Travel S from the intersection for about 2.5 miles to the center quarter corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 8" in a mound of stones
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The center quarter corner bears E, about 1410' from the centerline of FR16. There is a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign on a U-post which bears N, 36" distant. Found two western junipers with scribed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the backsides.
