This simple rectangular wood memorial plaque for Mark Wilks is mounted in the porch of the church of St. Paul's (South Ramsey) in Ramsey. This is the Church where Mark Wilks was vicar for 35 years between 1911 to 1946.
There is a picture of Mark Wilks on a framed time-line of St. Paul's - Chaplains & Vicars at the back of the church.
The dedication on the memorial is as follows:

TO THE GLORY OF GOD
& IN GRATEFUL MEMORY OF
MARK WILKS HARRISON
VICAR OF SOTH RAMSEY 1911 - 1946
CANNON OF SAINT GERMAN"
Mark Wilks was involved in many aspect of his parish including welfare activities, education, the Ramsey branch of the RNLI and much more.
Mark Wilkd died in 1946 aged 69 and is buried not far from Ramsey in the churchyard of Kirk Maughold.
The Altar (referred to in the dedication on this memorial) is made from wood and has three decorative panels featuring in the centre Christ and to his right 'the conversion of Saul' who took the name Paul (
