Maple Grove Cemetery is rectangular with paved drives bisecting the cemetery in both directions and around the perimeter. The cemetery has 5679 burials at this posting date. The area is flat with scattered mature trees.
There is a beautiful stone chapel on the premises, built in 1927, which is dedicated to O. D. Strother, an early settler and developer of the local oil fields. The chapel is on the National Register of Historic Places.
There is a very nice war memorial onsite, with a large military section of burials.
