Lucan is a small town in Redwood County, Minnesota, with population of 191 as of the 2010 census.

Named after the town of Lucan, Ireland, the town was platted in 1902 and incorporated in 1904. A post office has been in operation since 1908.

German, Dutch, Norwegian, Belgian, and Czech peoples settled the area, which is strange for them to name the town after an Irish town.
