Housuv mill is located in Tismenické valley under the ancient walls of the city of Tabor. One side is surrounded by Holecek's park. On the other side flows Tismenický stream.
Housuv mill itself was built on the foundations of the mill much more older, originating from the 13th century.
Housuv mill plays important part in the history of Tábor. In these places worshiped Hussite radicals (called Adamité). Jan Žižka let them to burn in 1421 in the near Klokotská parish. Reportedly, there were also buried Swedish conquerors, who died during the siege of the city in 1645. And according to legends, there is a secret exit from the underground corridors too.

In the 18th century grew up hier the first steam mill. It was part of spa. In 1948 the whole building was nationalized and then fell into disrepair for years as a warehouse. In the nineties began to reconstruct the object group of enthusiasts , who founded the Association Housuv mill .

Currently Housuv mill serves as a adventure museum of Hussite movement. You can stay overnight in Hussite hostel, visit the Hussite tavern, unique film armoury and exposition Tábor ghostly tales. Entertaining and informative program drawn you into history.
