This crumbled newspaper sculpture is one of local Seattle artist Anita Fisk's remaining sculptures. She created seven original pieces in a series titled Reality Relics. Most were everyday items that we discard or take for granted: a workman's glove dropped on the ground, a paper lunch sack left on a park bench, a couple of library books left behind, and a bottle of beer. Two of the art pieces were whimsical momories of childhood: Space Cards (childrens' collectible cards) and The Wicked Witch Shoes. Just four of the sculptures are remaining. The sack lunch and the beer bottle were stolen. The Wicked Witch's shoes are also missing but no one seems to know what happend to them.
