The Municipal Building sits on the northwest corner of Main Street and E. Evans Avenue. The entrance to the City administrative offices faces Evans Avenue, which originally was the entrance to the town library.

This is a two-story buff brick building. The central portion is taller than the north and south sections, which are recessed. The roof is flat with stone stepped pediments above the entrances. All windows are one-over-one with stone sills. The windows are set into narrow recessed bays with two rows of brick headers above each window, and several engraved stone panels.

The main entrance facing Main Street is slightly projected and has three sets of double doors with a stone surround and arched openings. Above this entrance the stone is marked "AUDITORIUM". The entrance facing Evans Avenue is similar but smaller, and is marked "LIBRARY" although today, the Seminole Public Library is located up the block in a different building.

This building houses the Seminole administrative offices, as well as the municipal court. Seminole has a Mayor and City Manager, with an 8-person City Council that meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. The town of Seminole, named after the Indian tribe, was established in 1906 and incorporated in 1924. It has a current population of about 7500, although during the 1920's when the oil boom was in full operation, the population swelled to 40,000.

This is an impressive building. On the upper wall are the words "Municipal Building" and the date MCMXXXVI (1936).
