This memorial is located in the center of the village near the crossroads in the small community that is home to a gardening business, jeweler, store/post office and church and Christian Academy. The monument is of a simple stone and flagpole design and was originally in place earlier, but rededicated in 1990 by a committee of local citizens to bring it up to date. On the front is a listing of the veterans of the village who served during World Wars I and II, Korea, Vietnam and Peace Time. The dedication of this memorial took place on July 8, 1990. There is a listing of the committee members on the back of the memorial
