The layout of the sculpture is based on the Mandala or Magic Circle. This ancient symbol is believed to be conductive to depp thought.
The theme is unity and diversity. The sculpture with its may relief designs of faces and hands celebrates our ONE-ness as humans as well as our unique characteristics.
It uses casts of the hands and faces of over 600 children and adults to celebrate the diversity of our community.
