This monument was placed in 1980 at the edge of the parish cemetery to honor their parishoners who served in the Armed Forces. It is a cross monument with a flagpole behind it accompanied by a small walkway.

Immaculate Conception Parish is a living faith community of the Catholic Diocese of Greensburg established in Irwin in 1868.

A small cross-stone like monument at the parish cemetery backed by a flagpole and accompanied by a small walkway is in the corner of the parish cemetery and can be viewed from dawn to dusk daily, year round, weather permitting
