This Monument,a remake of a former one at this site was rededicated in May 1989 by the Bushy Run American Legion Post 260 and was made possible by a donation From The Phillips Monument Company in honor of all those who served their country.

Claridge is an unincorporated community in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, United States.The community is 3.3 miles northeast of Manor. Claridge has a post office with ZIP code 15623, which opened on January 25, 1886.
