This short memorial stands near the main entrance to settler Cemetery from Trade Street at W 5th Street in the historic Fourth Ward area of downtown Charlotte.
It was jointly placed in 2016 by the Mecklenburg Chapter, North Carolina Sons of the American Revolution, and the Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence Chapter, National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
