From the whatpub website:-

Grade II listed pub which claims to be the oldest licensed premises in Shropshire. Re-opened late Summer 2017 by new owners who are enthusiastic about serving quality real ales.

The pub has under gone major refurbishment with the bar area currently open, but work is underway to provide a separate restaurant room in the Autumn 2017.

Pagoda style smoking area overlooks a large beer garden with views across the Severn valley and to the Clee Hills
