The mural is located on the back of Alley Cat Warehouse, an antiques store whose main location is worth a visit on Indiana Avenue, closer to downtown. This is one of three Ralph Stearns murals you'll find here -- The Gorilla and Light Switch are the other two -- and if you turn around and look behind you, you'll see The Longhorn Steer over at the Branding Iron restaurant.
The mural depicts a soaring American Bald Eagle on a white background, all colors reflecting what you would see in the wild. It could use a little touch-up, as the building's yellow paint is beginning to show through in a few places. There's nothing fancy about the eagle in terms of artistic license, and Stearns added the eagle's shadow as well. His signature and "2010" can be found in the lower right corner.
