Although it is now owned by the City of Venice, the Savorgnan Park is an integral part of the Savorgnan Palace for which it was designed. The palace was built on the plans of the architect Giuseppe Sardi (1624-1699).
The initial garden was enlarged in 1752 and decorated with statues, vases and citrus trees.
Now open to the public, it is one of the larger parks in town, providing a cool, refreshing spot to stroll under linden, maples, chestnut, plane trees, oak, and yew.
There are also a children's playground, picnic tables and benches.
The coordinates were taken at the Cannaregio Canal entrance.
