At the intersection with Hood Avenue in Sisters, turn onto Elm Street. In about 0.4 miles, Elm Street becomes FR16, Three Creek Lake Road. Travel S from the intersection for about 1.3 miles and turn right onto the Brooks-Scanlon Logging Road, FR1605. Continue generally NW for about 0.8 miles to the quarter corner on the right.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 6"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The quarter corner is about 55' N from the centerline of FR1605, at a T-junction of fences. There is a PROPERTY BOUNDARY sign on a U-post which bears W, 41" distant. Found a ponderosa pine with a partly healed blaze, a yellow BEARING TREE tag and a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign on the backside. A second bearing tree is on fenced, private property.
