I walked this cemetery, and found several stone broken off, and text missing, but you could tell a stone once stood in that place...

"Little could be found about the church in easily accessible sources. A church is shown at this location in the 1897 atlas of Callaway County. The building on the map could very well be this church, though the building has been extensively modified since that date.

"The church property contains the church, a social hall/activity/classroom building and a cemetery. The property is relatively flat, with scattered mature trees and other vegetation. The cemetery wraps the south and west side of the church, with markers facing east and laid in long rows running north and south. The social hall/activity building sits at a slight angle and is an earth-contact building with concrete walls and a low pitched side gable roof.

"In many respects a typical gable-end church, this building faces east and has a centered entrance. To the south is an addition (date unknown) with a low pitched shed roof. The only fenestration on the east elevation is the single leaf entrance sheltered beneath a gable roof, single bay, porch. On the north elevation are two, small, evenly spaced windows. The building is clad in vinyl siding and has a metal roof." ~ Missouri Department of Natural Resources
