The Meadows family started this cemetery by allowing people to be buried here in 1958. Avin Moon officially deeded the two acres for a cemetery the oldest grave according to dates on the headstones is 1876. This rural cemetery is interesting and unique as it is close to where the people lived and worked. Most of the people buried here are relatives, friends and/or neighbors.
