I spotted this sign and church on my way to Davenport, Iowa...I was going there to meet with a Marine I was station with 55 years ago,,,and for the last 50 year thought was dead. Made mental note to find it on the way home
On the way home I wandered off US-67 to a Catholic Church in Matherville, and almost forgot and missed this one going south.
I tried the front door, locked...wandered around looking for a corner stone...no luck. Building in great shape, found old sign,
this building was a community church of some kind before they sold to the Cowboy Church.
Oh, Well, when I get home there will be plenty of information on the web...I'll just use that.
Yea Right..again no such luck.

I did find this Facebook Announcement which indicates in 2016 this church building was acquired by the Cowboy Church, and before that they met in parks, out in the open.
