This small church on the north edge of a small town. I was traveling home (to Missouri) from Davenport, IA. I travel the US Highway because of opportunities to Waymark.
Saw a sign to Catholic Church a mile off the Hwy, so I went.
I photoed the sign with bell display, then this priest came running out asked what I was doing. I said I was just going to take a picture of the church and leave.
He demanded identification (which he did not get) and stated he did not know me and no one he does not know is allowed on church property.
He also stated "I am from Cleveland and I do not trust anyone."
Get off church property or I will call the police...
I informed him he was the most black hearted and black souled priest I had ever met. And I left. I replayed this incident to my dioceses, the Archdiocese of St. Louis and in a letter to the Diocese of Peoria.
