This cemetery is on the east side of SR236 on the south edge of North Salem, Indiana. It is large and visible from the road.

According to Find A Grave (visit link) there are currently almost 3200 interments in this cemetery.

We found this cemetery whilst visiting the Old Fashion Days Festival, held annually, over the Labor Day weekend, in the small north western Hendricks County, Indiana town of North Salem. As a part of this festival, a tractor pull and plowing display are held at the park and a large classic car show is held on the main street through town, on the Sunday.

North Salem is a town in Eel River Township, Hendricks County, Indiana, United States, and is located west of the capitol of Indiana, Indianapolis, and only has a population of a little over 500 people. The number of vistors, to this popular festival often top 10,000 over the course of the holiday weekend. North Salem was laid out in 1835. A post office was established at North Salem in 1839. North Salem was incorporated as a town in 1899. The town is located in the North West corner of Hendricks County. Two State roads cross here, SR75 and SR236. (visit link)
