At the intersection with Hood Avenue in Sisters, turn onto Elm Street. In about 0.4 miles, Elm street becomes FR16, Three Creek Lake Road. Travel S from the intersection for about 0.9 miles to the corner on the left, some distance away.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" brass cap on an iron pipe; rising 8" in a collar of stones

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is E, about 4300' from the centerline of FR16, next to a juniper fence post. Found two standing ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes and the usual complement of metal signs. There is another bearing tree on fenced private property.


What property is this mark defining?:
Deschutes National Forest land S from the corner, else private property NW and City of Sisters land NE; see also USDI-Bureau of Land Management, Field Notes of the Dependent Resurvey of a Portion of the Subdivisional Lines, and the Subdivision of Section 15, Township 15 South, Range 10 East of the Willamette Meridian in the State of Oregon; Survey Completed July 16, 1969; and also Oregon Corner Restoration Record #0294, filed in the Deschutes County Surveyors Office
