In 1964, this building was home to Côté White Rose Service Centre, 49 Alphonse Fournier Boulevard, now known simply as boulevard Fournier. Across the street in 1964 was the E & R Campeau Station Service which is the Esso station property in 2017. According to the Hull city directory material, the White Rose station probably opened for business in 1960.
White Rose and Canadian Oil Companies Ltd. were eventually purchased by Shell Oil. In the 1980s, this station was a Shell Canada self-serve station. The gas pumps were still in place as recently as 2001. Since then, the building has been host to different businesses including computer recycling. The building has been vacant since before 2012.
